Yes.

Ship left Bremerhaven on 4/7 and BMW online tracker was updated to "in transit" by 4/8 AM EST.

I think a ship left yesterday heading to the west coast (Hueneme). the myBMW tracker is apparently 2+ days behind (or can be), so I have hope!

I was able to add my VIN to the myBMW app and my car shows up, but I can't get to all of the features until I am in the car and can get the 6-digit code!

Just tried that Bmw app too and hit a dead end on that code 😂 would of been able to see exact location if there was a way to bypass that lol.

I can't tell if I'm happy I can't access it yet or not... I'd probably be going out of my mind checking!

Yep - Grand Cosmo departed Bremerhaven last night, scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme on the 16th of June. Fingers crossed we all are on it! West coast doesn't see as many boats, so hopefully they loaded it up!

Me too, brother. But between this Friday and next Thursday, there will be four RORO's steaming from Bremerhaven to the East Coast (3 WW's, 1 KLine), so I'm really hoping to make one of them.

2 weeks now too... This is harder then waiting for the car to actually be built. Not as many ships headed to west coast, only 2 more this month. Crossing fingers

Exactly my thoughts.. Tijuca should be arriving at the port in 3 hours and its a wallenius wilhelmsen boat, which I guess BMW likes to use a lot. It also is scheduled to be at the port for 3 days, so i'm really hoping its loading up and we'll all get onboard.

That's great news, didn't realize it was coming in today. Hopefully we make it on 👍

I don't think I was on the boat going to the west coast on the 19th, since I'm still "193" ... hoping I also make it on the boat coming in today!!

Your CA should be able to help with that, some here bad them activate it for them once they were at the port so they saw exactly when the car left

No, I'm fairly certain that manufacturers tell the shipping companies which vehicles to load and where they're headed.
I have alot of theories on how they schedule but I am wondering if the finances are taken in account (for revenue purposes)? I.e: cash vs finance vs lease, if lease or finance what is the money down etc.... I know it's a long shot but wouldn't that be a possibility or am I over thinking this?

Also, I see a trend of people waiting on allocations for months and others getting it right away and the right away people get in and out of production quickly. But then these people got stuck at ports and the people waiting long and got delayed the most get on ships faster.
In my deposit was put down 10/28/2021 allocation came 2/27/2022 for production week 9. I just hit 151 today for week 21 production.
Others put deposit mid jan and got allocations end of January went into production end of Feb/ beginning of March. (I understand that each dealership differs as each geography has different demand)

Anyone can oppose or validate my observation?

There's absolutely no way. You can change your method paying for the car up until it arrives at the dealership.

When I changed my method and locked in finances, next day I got a call from CA saying things should be straight with no delays anymore (he said not related) and 4 days later went from 111 to 112 to 150. But to my point I understand that Correlation doesn't mean causation, but wanted to see if that happened with anyone else too

I put deposit down on an allocation on 4/28. Arrived at port today. I wonder if it has more to do with the dealership and their sales numbers…definitely doesn’t appear FIFO…maybe also a factor of the way the vehicle is optioned. IDK
