It seems most are in agreement that it's not a good design direction for them and the consensus is that it's a mish-mash of multiple (non-BMW) cars.

Hey I just thought of an idea. How about we let these folks enjoy this atrocious looking car. I think we've done enough of voicing our displeasure of the design or shall we continue on until the fall?

Also, can someone please start a thread worthy of the front page so we can have a good story to read about?! Anyone...? (Crickets...)
That grille is making kissy lips at me and I'm feeling really uncomfortable. |

I'm most bothered that it will be at least 5 inches longer ... I'll be a pig of a GT cruiser
Why can't we have 1,450 kg M3s ? Those who need space there's always the X5M etc. |

Comes with the territory I guess as more technology added and EU emissions get increasingly tighter with each model year.

I actually like it, especially the front.
I have owned a couple dozen BMWs since the mid 1980s. I moved to Porsche (and VW) because of the lack of MTs at BMW. I will almost certainly buy a new M3 with MT, to replace my MT Golf R, when they come out...and also keep an MT Porsche...they are truly fabulous sports cars. I'm sure they'll be an aftermarket front bumper for the M4 that'll correct where BMW went very wrong.

It's very evident that we are all passionate about our views and it's for this reason forums like this are a wonderful venue to voice them.
However; it's important to keep in mind, not to be the protagonists, trying to change someone's opinion based on yours as this could be problematic, causing feathers to be ruffled and posts to be removed. (be a Caesar and not a Koba lol). Let's just try to keep on-topic, show restraint and play nice as much as possible. Otherwise, it defeats the purpose of these things. Yes, that was probably way too deep but needed to be said. God bless.
