Yeah basically if your vehicle was affected by the stop sale you're screwed but BMW's ultimate goal is to keep the production line moving because a halt in the production line would mean big issues so they allocate any new parts to the production line and give us the left overs. It's not just aford and I just about everyone with this stop sale has not had their vehicle fixed (other guys exist they just don't come here because it's quite sad) I check week 25-29 threads for their updates

W25 trust me, some are still here. I knew about the RAM issue when I was in production still, camera issue was unsure for a week or so after production finished. So I just waited around until the stop sales showed up on my car.

Whelp . . . It's officially day 60 at the NJ VPC (queue the fireworks and confetti!)

Seeing that limited inventory won't be arriving until October we're going to setup a new batch of fireworks and get the champaign on ice to ring in day 70 on October 4th.

Yes, it’s hard to understand, but it’s not unlike air traffic control managing a weather disruption. Flights initially delayed are slotted into available slots once normal service can resume, while later flights tend to be impacted much less, if at all. It’s like they’re optimizing for an on-time departure metric — or in BMW’s case, an on-time delivery metric.

Limited amount of inventory is coming in October. No idea if that's October 1 or October 31.

We've been waiting for my wife's M850i at VDC Oxnard for just about four weeks. Dealer tells me were waiting for the RAM for the Bowers and Wilkins radio. From the looks of the rest of you guys we still have a long wait. Sucks.

Good indicator today. Posted in the NJ stop sale thread but can share here as well.

Dealer said RAM is resolved for me and they should have the vehicle on Saturday. I'll wait to celebrate until I see photos but assuming the data is good I could have it sometime next week.

Not surprising but no update in the BMW Garage tracker and I'm not willing to go through the new call system to validate anything with a CS rep.

Some more positive news, my CA texted me today claiming my stop sale has been resolved and that the car should arrive at the dealer on 10/4!! The car arrived at VPC this past Monday so, if true, only a few days wait... I'll keep you all posted.

What VPC? I'm guessing Baltimore? They seem to have got a batch of RAM also which stop sale. Was it RAM or camera?

OK..New guy here. I traded in my 2018 M4 and ordered a new M4 comp back in late July. We are on a RORO headed into Port Hueneme on the 28th I believe. So I got an email from the dealer saying there was a stop sale on my car once it gets to port and he quoted:

: B651221 Delivery Stop: Receiver Audio Module (RAM)

However when I did some research on this, it seems like this affects the M3's with Bowers & Wilkins audio systems, and I know my 2018 had an Harman Kardon audio system.

So I checked the on-line spec sheet on the M4 Comp and sure enough it says that the 2022 M4's get the Harman Kardon system.

So my question to you guys (the experts here), is the stop-sale only for M3's or also M4's? Thanks in advance!
