Just got news from my SA and BMW genius that my production week 4 vehicle was loaded onto a vessel named Morning Pilot.

The vehicle left 02/1/24 and should arrive at the New Jersey port around 02/15/24.

Congrats! when did you vehicle arrive at Brem-Port?

It literally arrived maybe 4 days before. it got there Saturday, January 27th.

The longest wait is going to be New Jersey customs and getting assigned a car carrier to the dealership.

They are estimating an ETA of about 2–3 weeks once arriving February 15 at the port to in my driveway.

Oh that sucks. I didn’t realize that. I was thinking maybe 2-5 days at the most.

When did you place your order? I think mine was 2nd week of December.

I placed my order originally on September 10 (with an allocation at status 111) and It had a build week 42. About two weeks before that week, I got notification that it was delayed to build week 50 because of carbon buckets being unavailable/on backorder.

Then about a week before week 50 I got a call again saying that my build was delayed until week 4. After that it went smoothly. The car was completed within seven days and then put on the boat almost immediately which is very surprising.

Nice! Let’s just hope they get through the NJ port and on a truck quickly.

My G60 5-Series is on the Morning Pilot. Been sitting in Southampton for three days (ughhhh). I think it will (finally) be on its way at 3:00 PM their time (10:00 AM EST). Hoping it's still going to arrive in NJ by the 15th.

Fairly certain I’m on Morning Pilot as well… per my dealership my vehicle hasn’t shipped yet and just has a loading number but the online tracker has been “In Transit” since 1/31/2024.

Only reason I’m suspecting Morning Pilot is it’s scheduled to dock in Halifax, NS in early February.

Have you called the genius line (844-443-6487)? They will tell you what ship you're on and the anticipated arrival date in the port on the East coast.

Canadian Genius line is unfortunately not very helpful. I was told the best information the Genius line has access to is what’s on the website. The US Genius line can’t run Canadian VINs either.

My dealership sees a “load number” but not a ship for some reason.

Yup! My hunch was right, it was on this vessel. Looks like the vehicle was offloaded in Halifax a few days ago. Super excited!
