I mean comparatively speaking. I think my G80 is bigger than my E34 M5. My G80 seems to dwarf model 3’s… there’s always 1, 2, or 100 white ones in our parking lot.

When they have much lighter solid state batteries with an actual 600 miles of high performance driving range and can really be charged on the road in a timely manner then maybe. As a practical matter its faster and cheaper to put a new engine in a M3 than fix a Tesla Battery. Tesla is fine if you never go anywhere.
How much range is there pushing hard? I dont drive thinking about gas milage. In my albeit limited experience with electric cars driving them the same way as I do the M3 it cuts the range almost in half. The G80 is a raucous beast full of life - hold the gear around a corner then downshift and punch it - utter joy. Tesla is at best a wet noodle, sterile, aseptic and with absolutely no flavor. |

As many have said, EVs are only practical if the infrastructure exists. I don’t buy practical cars anyway. EVs such as Teslas are like IKEA appliances and furniture to me. Perhaps when I’m really old, deaf, and have lost most of my senses, I’ll ride in back of one.

More internet tools. It's a way of life now. Matt blasted the M4 as well on a rainy day.
