Take a look at the black horizontal strip in bisecting the giant grill. That's the bracket for the license plate.
I'm going to reserve judgement until i get a good view of the whole car. Interior and all.
Look at the C8, it looked horrible when it leaked, remember the controversy about the rear? It was 10X as bad as the G series M cars. Now people love them.

So stop freaking out, this car will be a hit. You can keep your F series cars for however long you want, but know, just like any car, when the new one comes out, the old one will initially drop in value like crazy. And i don't think the cars are expensive enough and limited enough to have a Porsche car bubble (think prices of 993 cars and prior) for that to happen to ours.

V8 C63 will still be on sale for 2 more years, so for me, I'd go with the C63.

Luckily I already made my choice, M2, which I'm sure a lot of M3 buyers may defect to.

Its a little big but you really need to see the entire car to get proportions. I like it!!!

I've always been hesitant on getting a truck which my favourite is the x5/x6m although I had an f80 m3 comp and and it was by far my favourite car so I was going to pick up the m xdrive m3 since winters in Canada are brutal but seeing the design now I'm leaning towards a truck ( and also x3m isn't powerful enough to my liking)

So you're going to buy a boat because you don't like the grille? It's clear most people here don't really care about driving. Just the M badge.
At all I want the driving experience first and foremost but if I have to stare at a grill that I won't enjoy everyday why would I put up with it when I can get a 620 HP all year round truck

I cannot get behind this one and the newest gauge cluster. I usually run without a plate on the front of most of my cars but they don't make a plate large enough to cover up this mess.

The grille doesn't look bad because of how big it is, it's because its shape is too plain. There's nothing sporty or aggressive about the shape. It looks incredibly generic in comparison to F8x.

Dozens?

That's some alternative facts there.

Even it was two-dozen, out of 250ish posts means bad news.

It's an M car -- only M cars have double slats instead of a mesh or single slats.

True story...

of course predictions are ** easy** when you receive preproduction photos...

I believe that is the G80 front end that is photographed (...and it is eerily close to the official Bimmerpost photoshop). The G22 bumper will look different.

" eerily close " isn't a strong enough wording...
