This has been driving me mad for a while and ive done searches on google and literally cannot find anything regarding this so heres what im trying to do / check.

On my F82 M4 when i Hit the unlock button on my remote the DRL's would come on. In my G82 M4 comp 2021 when i press the unlock button or comfort access unlocks car when im close enough my DRL's do not come on should they ???? if they dont can you code them or change a setting to make them come on upon car unlock almost like welcome lights ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated as its dricing me mad lol

Mine come on but they only stay on for 30 sec or so.

did you set this somewhere or just did this as standard ?

I don’t think I set it up this way it is just the default behavior on my ‘24 G80. If there is anyway to change it my guess would be in the exterior lighting section of settings.

For those interested I've figured out the problem I have comfort access enabled and when the car automatically opens using comfort access the welcome lights are not activated/used however if I unlock car with key fob drl/welcome lights work as expected so obviously the comfort access entry works differently

My AU model has DRLs on regardless of unlocking from fob or comfort access.

The only mode when DRLs not on is when I unlock remotely with app on the phone.
