My deterrent is that mine’s is a manual. Not saying that womens can’t drive a stick, is just that my wife doesn’t know how to drive that kind of stick and it works for me. LOL

What he said! A lot of guys would love it if their wife/girlfriend was as interested in cars as they are. My husband has never been told NO about anything with 4 wheels and vice versa! |

^^^^ It really depends on the reason for her wanting to drive it. If it’s due to the performance aspect of it and it’s being a car thing, then yeah, she’s a keeper. If it’s because it’s the new thing or it looks better or sportier than her X7 or some other vanity reason, then no. Lol

In all honesty, she could easily trade in her X7 and get an M3 as well. If you guys need the room of the X7, perhaps waiting a little longer to see if BMW would consider bringing the wagon M3 over here and maybe that would give her enough room for stuff as well as the M performance she loves in your 3. Just a thought…

No way, that's a great wife since she was supportive of getting an M3 in the first place!
This is the right answer!

Could trade the x7 in for the upcoming M5 Touring.

The problem with the X7 for your wife is that it is too big and a hassle for her if she just needs to go for a short trip. An X5M is just as good for hauling three kids. |

My wife can’t drive a manual, so although she’s threatened to take the M3 she has to settle for the X7. Problem solved!

Get downpipes and exhaust and turn the burbles up…she should bail out. Then once she thinks it’s too loud you can flash the burbles away.

My likes the M3cx-drive because of its power. It is pretty stable and confidence inspiring. She is afraid to drive my gt3 for fear of scratching something or someone on the road hitting it.
