This is going to sound bizarre, but I had a midpipe installed and startup in M1 use to be much louder with the other key. Plus I’ve lost my downshift pops and burbles even with flaps open in Sport+…its making me want to go waste 4 hours to get the primary key back! lol

Check that the Exhaust button is pressed (light lit up green next to it) on the center console. M1/M2 also control that with the "M Sound" option.

I'm also a single driver so all my key fobs, digital key in phone, key card etc... all paired to my profile and no need any pin whatsoever.

ID8, ID7 no. I can’t even get my Apple Watch to pair with my profile like my phone and key card are.
