Are you referring to the headlights or interior screen animation? The screen animation is the same as the pre-LCI (obviously the headlight sequence is different).

Isn't that just the ambient color choice? Or does it match the car color for start up only?

I test drove a pre lci and didnt see the car on dash either on that one. But yea either way the pic of car with ambient lighting under to match seems pretty cool.

It's on the 2024 models. Did you drive something earlier? 22 or 23 maybe?

It's an iDrive 8 thing, all MY23+ G80s and MY24+ G82/83 has that same animation. I have it in my iDrive 8 MY24 G83. It'll come up if you get in the car without turning the car on and the system "cold boots"

I'm fairly certain the lighting under is just a setting, they just set it to green to match the exterior color.

You’re probably right about that, maybe its just the way it looks around the new vents that stood out in the video.

That location for ambient lighting specifically is new for the LCI as well

Is that the only ambient lighting now? Just the strip? Hard to tell from the video, but I don't see anything else online the doors or along the passenger side dash trim. Hopefully not more cost cutting signs.
