Just to be clear, when I was first getting the car I thought it’ll come with some digital screen M emblem key, to my dismay that wasn’t the case. However, I’m relatively happy with the keys and mybmw app for now.

i think they ususally change the keys for each 3/4 series generation, even the LCI's don't get updated keys, i worked for BMW a few years ago and the only cars i noticed that would get the new key during the LCI were the x series vehicles
