Long Shot
Does anyone know any dealers that have an allocation ready? I’ve been number 1 on the waitlist at my local dealer since August 27th and still do not have an allocation. I am getting restless.
Ended up purchasing a car Peoria had on the showroom floor. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. All the dealers still have many people on their queue waiting on an allocation. Last edited by SRoss; 11-15-2021 at 09:19 AM.. |

I hear ya as I am trying to find a allocation as well. Best to call around and see what dealers have them and get on shortest list. Still then you might be waiting.

If you’re willing to take Performance Center delivery, try searching out-of-state. I was looking back in July/August, and my local (small) dealer wasn’t sure they’d get an allocation at all this year. So I found Galleria BMW in Mississippi and placed my order with them. They received an allocation for an M4 within a couple weeks of initial contact. According to my CA (Sonya West), they do a LOT of business with M cars, which boosts their allocations.

Ya same, if you're willing to take an out of state delivery, reach out to TJ Rennie at BMW North in Houston, Texas. Not sure what what the current allocation availability/ list looks like there, but he'll be honest with you. Another forum member also had good luck with Momentum BMW of Houston. Might be worth a shot. Good luck.

There is one M3 RWD with all carbon packages(Include Carbon Brakes and M Drive Performance) in Peoria Illinois.
$105,000 + $5000 markup. I was talking with them, but now my car started the production https://www.bmwofpeoria.com/inventor...33ay00mfl59293 |

The dealer in Peoria was claiming a 3 to 4 week lead time. This is what I am getting from Bill Jacobs https://www.bmwpartspros.com/oem-par...ar-36115a076b8 |

About Peoria team, I had a bad impression initially. Like all dealerships, they called me talking about the excellent deal they will be offering me. I sent all stuff about my truck and the biggest issue was the mark up in a car like your, with items I will not be using (Carbon Brakes and M drive). After one week of conversation, messages, calls and etc. They send me the exactly same thing I received from their website. MSRP + Paint Protection + Mark up. I just started talking again when the general sales manager called me. But at this time, my M4 entered in production. I will say, I'm in a neutral situation about them today, because the General Sales Manager was really good. I can't say the same about BMW Orland Park and BMW Schereville. At Bill Jacobs I got my allocation at the same day I paiid my deposit. |

At that time, I was looking for a M3 and I was 3rd in line. 2 months later, my position did not changed. I was a little bit concerned about that. In parallels I got the M4 allocation from Bill Jacob. One month ago, the sales person from Orland Park "sold me" a M3 xD. But when I was driving to there to pick it, they told me the car was sold to someone else. Even after my deposit. |

Peoria recently told me there is a wait list and they charge a $2000 markup(5000 non IL resident). Just a heads up*

I hate markups but $5k to do the config you want and have it start build in 3 weeks? There's many that would of taken that deal. The only thing missing from the car I ended up with was M Drive Professional, which I was told would of added a significant delay to manufacturing. On the plus side, the $5k that I would of paid to the other dealer effectively went towards the M Carbon Exterior Package. That was a luxury that I would of struggled to justify personally but I can't wait to see it in person! |
