Wheel Spacers, Low Dust Brake Pads & Mud Flaps for M3?
Hello All:
I conducted a search and could not locate info. specific to my request and you all with experience can provide some guidance. For starters, my car is an M3 XD with the Pirellis P Zeros. I did read that spacer size may depend on the tire brand on your respective car. That said, which tire sticks out more and what most owners with the P Zeros are using for spacer sizes. I am not lowered and will not go that route. Anyone using low-dust brake pads? I had them on my 18 M4 and they worked great! Lastly, since i will be installing spacers, the need for protection- Mud flaps is essential. So please chime in for some helpful feedback. thank you kindly, GC |

Anytime anyone mentions mud flaps,
I start hearing "Big Bottom" by Spinal Tap in my head. Yes, I am still 12.

Here's a good wheel spacer post comparing the various sizes most people use. This is at stock ride height as well. At the very bottom of the post includes a compilation comparison for easy reference.

One month old and the brake squeal is, well, crap. I've learned to adjust braking in the city and parking lots; basically slow down to a crawl and let engine braking and barely any pedal contact. Quiet. Then I realize it's a dumb way to own a car. It squeals in Sport + driven aggressively, but not as bad, and obviously at those speeds the wind noise and fun factor are so great that the squeal isn't noticeable.
But pulling into a crowded parking lot with snarky friends waiting and then commenting "I thought you bought the fancy BMW, not the cheaper model with Chinese brakes", well, I was googling yellow ebc brakes. |
