Exactly, it will almost pay for itself after a few uses.

If you have the space, definitely do it.

Can the install be done just using a floor jack?

You'll need a floor jack, jack stands and a few tools, there's videos on YouTube on how to install springs.

Spring install is quite easy guys. Don't be intimidated. In the rear it's seriously two bolts. Save yourself some money.

Ah Keith, yea. Only issue is that they're so disorganized, it's not easy to setup an appointment and you'll literally burn an entire day waiting around. Keith does great work though. How was your experience?

Yeah Keith. He's the man. My experience was great. I did spend a few hours there but that was ok with me. Trick is to get there first thing when they open before its too busy.

Yea, did that, was the first one there and still ended up being there all day for a downpipe install and alignment. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

I was quoted $1900 for install plus $200 for alignment from a local performance shop to have my KW HAS kit installed on my G80 w/ xDrive. Is that just me or is that pretty high? I know there's more work involved than a standard lowering spring kit but it seems pretty up there.

Anyone else willing to weigh in on what their HAS kit install cost was?

That's a good deal. I was quoted 900 by one of our best shops and 760 by another good shop. I'm leaning towards diy

Dang, I'm going to call around and get a couple more quotes. My $1900 quote is sounding more and more egregious.

This is about how long my shop took. I paid $1,200 which included like $250 for the alignment.

$700 including the alignment and spacers.
Not bad, but I've done a lot of business and referrals with them.
Also, I let them pick the date/time, so they could schedule it during a slow period.
I was definitely expecting it to be a bit more though.

I plan on calling a few more shops in the Houston area. Hell, may call dealership and see what their labor cost is to install.
Hey did you find anything reasonable other than these two options in Houston area?

No went with EMG and I paid $900 or $950 for installation. Without alignment. Don’t use them for the alignment they just go to avittex alignment and charge you an additional $50.

Some guy went to soul speed in Austin and paid $540 for Installation. Can’t remember if that included alignment.

Houston sucks. Over charging.

Yup, I’m going to soul speed in Austin also. 750 total, including alignment.

Maybe I should just drive to Vegas and get my springs installed there!
I can't get anyone here in Tucson to do this for a reasonable price!

I will probably end up doing it myself.

I was quoted here in NJ with a very reputable shop.

$875 + $250 for alignment I was quoted = $1125.
