I have a question about installing the rear shocks, do you reuse this plastic piece that goes on top of the rear top mount, and is it necessary? I’m getting a clunking noise over bumps from what seems to be the top mounts and I’m wondering if this piece acts as an insulator that would get rid of the noise. Thanks

Yes we always reinstall that cover. KW specifies it in their instructions. Regarding the clunking noise, make sure every bolt is torqued to BMW specifications under load, especially the shock bolt on the control arm.
