I'm not a big fan of Adro's work as evidenced by my prior comments, but this is dead wrong. Their chief aerodynamicist (is this even a real job title? Lol) is a former aerodynamicist for the Williams F1 program. I'm sure this is far from being a "cosmetic accessory." They've posted output from computational fluid dynamics models in the past with proven results, and I think it's highly unlikely they won't do the same here.

Remember this comment — we'll see what sort of testing data they put out about this kit in the future.

I've never been a wing fan short of functional aero on race cars, but with body color added, it actually looks good at least from this angle.

I applaud they're doing something unique, new differentiated offerings even if it comes down to personal preference are never a bad thing.

It’s different, and I like that.

The general consensus with my friends has been that the adro kit in general looks better on the M4 than it does on the M3, which is why I’m betting they didn’t do it for the M3.. yet. I’m curious to see what it’d look like given the M3 already has some hips

I’ll gladly be proven wrong. Just remember that CFD is no substitute for real world testing, and few people have any comprehension of how OEMs develop aero on their cars. A guy with F1 experience is a start, but not a substitute for a robust testing program. I’ve worked in a full-scale OEM automotive wind tunnel - they’re not cheap!

If a race team were to use this kit as part of its development, and then win races, that would be some significant credibility.

I can appreciate how this kit manages to tone down the front grill, or maybe distract, either way it’s a good thing.

The 3 ‘gills’ on each side of the front bumper look kind of ridiculous, especially as my eyes move over the lower lip area, but love what the added overall width does to the general silhouette.

Would’ve loved if the M4 CSL was a street-legal M4 GT3. Would’ve paid $200k+ for that.
