This has 3.0 CSL vibes, except done way better IMO. Granted the 3.0 CSL photos we have so far are in full camouflage, the grill on the 3.0 CSL just doesn't seem right for the modern BMW shape/angles. What ARDO did looks way more fitting. I'm not going to get this because I like the OEM bumper as long as it has the carbon air ducts, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This looks awesome.

SP Designs had a really good render
As for this bumper update, anyone feel that its too late now? Few years into the release, seems like most people have come around to be okay with the grills and are happy with putting the CSL style on it.

I really liked bimmerposts render. It has the big grill, while having the traditional /--\ lower front facia design. If someone made this, I'd gladly pick it up.

M2 gives off strong monorail vibes IMO.

Take it or leave it!! Skip or buy. I just know when the GX8 show up to BMW car meets, they stand out in bad way when sitting next to FX8 Gen.

At one meet I parked next to few ACRs and I had more people stop by asking about my car than any of the vipers. Only person who didn't like it was an F8X owner but that's understandable.

First render I’ve seen that looks like it could be an improvement. Most others just weren’t cohesive with the rest of the design

The bottom of the bumper creates width and aggression whereas the stock bumper looks pinched in at the bottom.

This looks really beautiful, sleek front end and kudos to the design team. I wonder how the timing of completion will work out relative to any lci updates. I haven't heard anything about a bumper redesign but it's possible the 3.0 front end or something like that may be coming and bmw is keeping it a secret. I have no real clue though. Impressive work!

This is because they actually did it the right way and brought in a designer with real OEM experience. That picture with him working the clay model with tape is very telling of the amount of effort they put into making this product seamlessly integrate into the rest of the car, retaining the tension of the original body lines and the meticulous surfacing and refinement that German cars are known for. 99% of the "renders" out there, including most others in this very thread are done by people with zero design education or practical experience..mostly bored kids who took up Photoshop as a hobby. Unfortunately most aftermarket manufacturers don't bother to invest in hiring or consulting OEM designers for their products, resulting in garbage parts that honestly don't belong on these cars. Most people don't realize the sheer talent and skill it requires to be a designer for a company like BMW, or any automotive manufacturer for that matter. Yes, ugly cars happen, but the fault is usually not with the designers. Kudos to ADRO for doing it right. I don't think this design is overall an improvement over the real thing, but it's very well done and fixes some of the issues I have with the OEM bumper.

It's a great step towards a more cohesive design.
The g80 is far from perfect in terms of design/execution (my opinion) although the CSL grille helps a ton. I personally feel the vertical grilles and side intakes are too close and the Adro aero spaces those out a bit. In doing so it thickens out the front bumper panel that separates those two areas. I think the Adro design would be perfect if that fang on the side was more like on the F87 |

Wow this is what the M2 should have looked like, not that squarish boring cr*p they came up with. This is awesome! Love that fang that kicks back in.
