This has 3.0 CSL vibes, except done way better IMO. Granted the 3.0 CSL photos we have so far are in full camouflage, the grill on the 3.0 CSL just doesn't seem right for the modern BMW shape/angles. What ARDO did looks way more fitting. I'm not going to get this because I like the OEM bumper as long as it has the carbon air ducts, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This looks awesome.

As for this bumper update, anyone feel that its too late now? Few years into the release, seems like most people have come around to be okay with the grills and are happy with putting the CSL style on it.

I really liked bimmerposts render. It has the big grill, while having the traditional /--\ lower front facia design. If someone made this, I'd gladly pick it up.

M2 gives off strong monorail vibes IMO.

Take it or leave it!! Skip or buy. I just know when the GX8 show up to BMW car meets, they stand out in bad way when sitting next to FX8 Gen.

This is literally the opposite of what happens when I bring my G82 to car meets….

At one meet I parked next to few ACRs and I had more people stop by asking about my car than any of the vipers. Only person who didn't like it was an F8X owner but that's understandable.

First render I’ve seen that looks like it could be an improvement. Most others just weren’t cohesive with the rest of the design

Completely agree. I can’t stop looking at it. This would have been an instant like from most people had it been right from BMW. The big one is the illusion that the bonnet appears longer and lower because the grille starts lower down.

The bottom of the bumper creates width and aggression whereas the stock bumper looks pinched in at the bottom.

This looks really beautiful, sleek front end and kudos to the design team. I wonder how the timing of completion will work out relative to any lci updates. I haven't heard anything about a bumper redesign but it's possible the 3.0 front end or something like that may be coming and bmw is keeping it a secret. I have no real clue though. Impressive work!

During the development process, parts are 3D scanned before designing to ensure a perfect fit with more traditional methods like plasticine clay to achieve a final design before molds are made. CFD analysis are also performed to visualize any aerodynamics and efficiency on designs. For example, their Tesla Model Y Aero kit showed a 4.4% reduction in total vehicle drag.

Hands down, Adro is among the best looking and fitting kits we've seen to date, easily rivaling some well-established brands that have been on the market for years. Everything is included, from instructions, prep pads and mounting hardware and each part is meticulously packaged before shipping.

Enclosed are quick teaser photos introducing the BMW G8X M3/M4 Premium Carbon Fiber Program from ADRO. Vehicles, pricing and photos will be fully released at SEMA in a few weeks.

ADRO G8X G8X M3/M4 Competition Carbon Fiber Aero Program will consist of the following items:

Carbon fiber Front Bumper with integrated lip spoiler
Carbon fiber Side Skirts
Carbon fiber Rear Diffuser
Carbon Fiber Rear Track Spoiler

Meet the Adro team
Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization (ADRO) manufactures high quality aerodynamic body kits.

Passion for racing brought co-founders Dongwan Yoo, CEO, and Sean Yoon, CTO, together in 2010. They met through a mutual acquaintance and quickly bonded over the aesthetics and performance of race cars. Fast forward several years later, they began creating custom body kits for KDMs as a hobby. As business picked up, they co-founded ADRO in 2020 and began expanding their product offerings.

ADRO products are designed in California, engineered and manufactured in South Korea.

Chief Executive Officer: Dongwan Yoo
With over 15 years of FRP and carbon tuning experience, Dongwan leads ADRO with his passion for automotive aesthetics and carbon fiber manufacturing. He was also in charge of producing the carbon fiber body kit for the Hyundai RM 15 concept, which debuted with much fanfare at the Frankfurt Motor Show. He brings his relentless pursuit of top-grade materials, eye for design, and passion for body kits to create the highest quality aftermarket parts.

Chief Technology Officer: Sean Yoon
With a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from KAIST University and a Masters in Race Car Aerodynamics from Southampton University, Sean Yoon leads the Aerodynamics Division at ADRO. Sean, who was on track to join the Ferrari F1 race team as their aerodynamicists before the Lehman Brothers’ collapse, became a serial entrepreneur, working with LG Electronics, a global innovator in technology and consumer electronics; Enswers, a pioneer of Automatic Content Recognition technology; Noom, a health and wellness subscription-based app; and most recently O2Palm, a project management software. Coming full circle, he’s once more chasing his dream of working with cars by leading ADRO’s engineering team.

Chief Design Officer: Davis Lee
Famous for his Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car design and his work with the CLS, S-Class, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and more, Davis joined ADRO as Chief Design Officer in January 2022. With 10 years of OEM design experience, he is looking to shake up the aftermarket industry with stylish designs that flow cohesively with vehicle’s original design DNA.

Head of Aerodynamics: Scott Beeton
Scott has been involved in motorsport for over 15 years with a primary focus on aerodynamics and improving vehicle performance. After graduating with distinction from legendary aerodynamicist Adrian Newey’s alma mater Southampton University, he immediately started as an Aerodynamicist at the Williams Formula One team where he was primarily responsible for the front wing development of the 2009/2010 cars and was involved in CFD methodology. Since then he’s been involved with World Time Attack Challenge, the largest time attack event in the world, both helping to craft the regulations and as a vehicle designer. Scott has also offered training and consulting services specializing in race car design and aerodynamic development through his company AeroDesign Pty Ltd for more than 10 years.

More info coming soon, enjoy.

This is because they actually did it the right way and brought in a designer with real OEM experience. That picture with him working the clay model with tape is very telling of the amount of effort they put into making this product seamlessly integrate into the rest of the car, retaining the tension of the original body lines and the meticulous surfacing and refinement that German cars are known for. 99% of the "renders" out there, including most others in this very thread are done by people with zero design education or practical experience..mostly bored kids who took up Photoshop as a hobby. Unfortunately most aftermarket manufacturers don't bother to invest in hiring or consulting OEM designers for their products, resulting in garbage parts that honestly don't belong on these cars. Most people don't realize the sheer talent and skill it requires to be a designer for a company like BMW, or any automotive manufacturer for that matter. Yes, ugly cars happen, but the fault is usually not with the designers. Kudos to ADRO for doing it right. I don't think this design is overall an improvement over the real thing, but it's very well done and fixes some of the issues I have with the OEM bumper.

It's a great step towards a more cohesive design.

The g80 is far from perfect in terms of design/execution (my opinion) although the CSL grille helps a ton. I personally feel the vertical grilles and side intakes are too close and the Adro aero spaces those out a bit. In doing so it thickens out the front bumper panel that separates those two areas.

I think the Adro design would be perfect if that fang on the side was more like on the F87

Falling in love??? umm, I think you're confused by the word love. If she's got her finger and thumb in the shape or an L on her forehead, it's not for "love".

Wow this is what the M2 should have looked like, not that squarish boring cr*p they came up with. This is awesome! Love that fang that kicks back in.
