People are over reacted with springs, they're not that bad!! They're not the best option, but they're certainly not "GARBAGE" according to some of you.
Some folks here hate springs but love KW HAS, well, they're the same, but the KW kit give you an option to raise or lower lmao!! Some people!!!! |

Or BMW's HAS. Obviously there's some room for the suspension to still be adequate with a modest drop (...like a spring). |

To each his own! I have never or will never road race my cars. For me it's the look. I always do coil overs so I guess that's better than springs. I laugh at you guys who are like M performance has this thing set up perfectly. Like your doing something wrong if you lower the car. Relax there Turbo=) Thing looks like a fucking Jeep from the factory. Horrendous!! Like I said before, no need to worry about scraping the front splitter anymore. Unless you go up a 10" curb. LOL

whenever theres a new chassis of BMW out, PSI is always the first one to lower it. And every single time, there are weirdos in the comments acting like the car has been completely ruined by a set of lowering springs. these same guys were saying the same thing in e90post years and years ago.

Man i must say bmw guys in this thread dont know anything about suspension setup its actually crazy LOL. Its very clear you guys just drive your cars on the street and not the track.

The point is MOST BMW's are street cars, so there really isn't a need for crazy suspension set-ups (...unless you have money to burn, which is the category most modders fall into). It's akin to the dude who buys a powerful scope to put on his AR to shoot 25 or less yards......when a red dot with 1X magnification is plenty enough (...loose example/analogy). A modest drop on springs with not significantly mess up the geometry for street driving.

My M3 CS was so f*cking good stock that I left it completely alone and (to me) it looks like a monster truck. But man, it drives incredible. The M3 CS was NOT designed to work with M Performance Springs, so I left it alone because there was no OEM product available. Some of us realize what we DON'T know, and stay in our lanes. With that being said, I am still faster than people way more knowledgeable than I am.

If my CS was manual I would be keeping it as a dedicated track car. At least I would look stylish whilst making my pathetic "heel-toe" attempts.

Come on guys- we all know putting lowering springs on any car only helps with the looks. Over time they do jack up the stock dampers- I would recommend waiting for BMW to release their proper HAS Kit from MP. Or wait to see if KW will be releasing a full on coils system for G8X . No need to have 5 pages of why lowering springs sucks or don't suck!
