I was also "Dispatched from Factory" on Friday, but still haven't reached the port. Hopefully in the next few days...

At what point did your car get the stop sale? Today when your car arrived to port, or did you already have it before?

About 3 pages ago on 1/27 when I was dispatched (but it was the first time I checked so who knows).

My car is now “At the Port”. Exactly 5 days since it was “Dispatched from Factory”.

I wonder if this status change happens automatically and they really have no idea what’s going on…

Victoria Highway belongs to "K" Line. But check with Genius. They'll tell you what ship your car is on.

Dispatched from factory. Is it normal that my CA is telling me I don’t speak to the finance manager until the car is at the dealership? Shouldn’t I be able to set that up now?

I would imagine very normal, with a rates rising/inflationary environment, the rate you talk to them about now may not be the one you get in weeks/months from now

I locked my rate on Jan 1. I read in these forums that BMW Financial rate locks last 90 days. I suggest you request your rate lock asap if you don’t already have one.

I’m from the week 3 thread but I was wondering how long it took some of you guys to get to the port. I have been stuck on dispatched from factory for a week and a half now.

I’ve been asking this question around week 1, 2, 3 and 4. From what I’ve seen, the most reoccurring norm is 5 days from “Dispatched from Factory” to “At the Port”. That’s what I’ve seen from a few others and that’s exactly what my car took as well (from 1/28 to 2/2).

Now, please don’t get upset with me. I do realize that you and a few others have had to wait longer (some much longer than you). I’ve also seen some much shorter.

Looks like the next boat to the east coast is the Hawaiian Highway.

Looking at the other threads, some people wait a couple of weeks at port. Is there work that needs to be done or does it come down to the arrival of the next vessel?
