M3cs and fake engine noise

So the m2cs, f80 m3cs, and m5 CS all don't have the active engine noise, aka fake exhaust. Was wondering if the m3cs will continue that trend, if anyone knows. Bmw usually takes out the extra insulation to make it sound better

Having had the M2 CS, I think it has some fake induction noise through the speakers (it’s just too loud and accentuated for it to not). The M4 CSL does not however. Since the M3 CS shares the same exhaust as the CSL, hoping the same.

I think it's louder cause they strip down the insulation in the CS models.

I’m fairly confident, having owned one for a few years and put thousands of miles on it, that it has Active Sound Design. I think owners like to act like it’s not there, like that somehow gives the car more street cred or something. But it’s definitely there.

Not sure about the m2cs, but the f80 CS was confirmed to have the asm deactivated. That's one of the reasons I love my m3 CS. You can hear it driving a comp and CS back to back

Yeah, i saw some messages before on the forum that people confirmed it in the software. Also, joe Achilles also confirmed it in one of his reviews as far as I recall.
