Anyone have any leaks on when the OEM HAS kit is going to be released? Have been waiting and thought it may come out with the CS or CSL cars but still no word.

Was considering KW as I think they will make the BMW OEM HAS kit but like to keep my cars OEM.

I've been patiently waiting on the newest pricing info on the MP HAS. It's weird, since the aero and appearance mods are already available, and they're all together on the M Accessories website. I suspect the KW HAS spring issues may have delayed official BMW release. Understandable, since OEM needs to be dialed in. I'd imagine Aero and Appearance parts manufacturing is more in-house than suspension manufacturing.

I hope they're in a similar price category as the F80 version. But I'm bracing for impact, as some of the OEM Carbon accessories are crazy money IMO.

Agree with the potential price. I heard a rumour from a BMW Employee in AUS to expect roughly 50% premium over F series but he stressed pricing was not set yet. Also no word on timing.

I have always gone OEM on my cars. More money up front but very easy to resell if required.

The wait continues. 2022 FOR SURE I HOPE.

Wow. Circa $2400 for a set of springs will be bonkers. I get the need to absorb warranty costs for other components, but that's still nuts

I'll be going with the KW setup if pricing truly does come out that high. I get the OEM price premium, but at 3x the price... not so much.

Just had a chat with my dealers parts department (UK), the M Performance HAS is available to order (comes from Germany), he quoted £1500. Has anyone got it yet?

Are they able to give you a part number? The thread in the vendor section was updated a week or two ago saying no part number yet and not expected until end of the year, unfortunately.

Called a dealer here in Australia this week and they advised me there is no part number in their system yet so according to them not available in Australia to order. Can not be far away though if the above is correct.

I assume the springs are 1 to 1.5 k of it, the rest is labor and documents. Those would add up to KW springs as well if you get it done at a dealership in same way.

There appears to be multiple spring issue(s) recorded on this site. It would be prudent to see BMW step up with the approved parts. Rubbing springs are suspect, R&D?

OEM carbon pricing for G80/82/83 is some form of price gouging when you factor in the substantial lower cost for F items. I would suspect "sales" on overstock once realized by dealers.

Install of springs shouldn't be more than around 4-500 Euros. TÜV shouldn't be a problem, since both KW HAS and the MP HAS already have the ABE. The ONLY reason I'd get anything installed at a dealership vs independent shop would be if the dealer gives me a deal on parts and labor for the MP HAS.

Well KW was the OEM supplier for the F series HAS system, 99% it's the same for the G series HAS. Keeping in mind that KW has just recently remedied the spring issue people have had, it certainly lines up with the timing of the MP HAS release. My guess is that the KW HAS (and the experiences people have had with them) has contributed to the R&D on the MP HAS. If I were BMW I'd want to be sure my outside vendor has their R&D and beta testing done before co-signing a "performance part".

Curious and sorry if I missed it but, why does this HAS system call for a EDC recalibration and not the KW or MSS HAS require it???????
