Not sure about the driver, but it sure looks like the passenger could have survived. Before the second impact he was still in his seat but right at the moment of impact you can see him get flipped extremely violently and thrown out from the side over the car and then on the street. Absolutely horrible.

I think the cause of this accident is summer performance tires in a cold and rainy weather in Russia.

I always turn traction control off when I drive aggressively and never lost control of the car. If he had winter tires he would have been ok.

This street seems super dangerous - two-way traffic on twelve ways without separator! It's crazy. I'm pretty sure they have similar accidents each time it rains...

Yes, not wearing a seatbelt is a common thing in Eastern European countries (I know).

Fucking retarded as fuck and they think it’s “uncomfortable and gets in the way” and always think it makes them not look cool. Dumbass culture and I always strap mine when I visit even to the dislike of my friends. Fuck that I’m not trying to die. Sad waste of life in this case that could have prevented.

I’m also this angered because I’ve lost friends to shit like shit and it’s just a sad reminder of how stupid choices have fatal consequences.

Lots of harsh words for the drivers of this M4. These types of accidents happen all the time with super fast RWD cars. It happened to a friend of mine and his Lamborghini. Same situation. It was raining and he floored it and then it just started spinning out of control right off the side of the road. He said there was nothing he could do about it. It did about eight 360s. I would think that as much as this happens with super fast cars it’s nothing compared to all the morons who are texting and then rear end people. That’s happening constantly now in Florida.

Sounds like not flooring it in the rain would be something he could do to avoid that situation?

Yeah this^^. A dude got roasted on the F80 side when he totaled his M4CS driving 90+ mph in a downpour on Cup 2s. Rain + high horsepower requires a higher duty of care - i.e driving at reasonable speeds and not flooring it. Throw in unideal rubber on top and that is one bad recipe.
