I'm sure it's fast. Just looks ridiculous, and the marketing material / video was nonsensical.

That said I'll be excited to see it at the track in person. I'm sure it'll sell well. Just not for me!

So as far as I'm concerned it could look like a fetus and I'd still get one.

The S58 sounds like the real deal. A S55 Stage1 makes 480whp. The S58 Stage1 is currently at 600whp. That is pretty impressive, and the power curve of the 600whp version looks exactly the same as the stock one

Agreed...people are too worried about aesthetics. Seems like this car will be incredibly competent on track & on street. The M340 blew me away, even when driving it back to back with an F80 Comp. I can only imagine how quick the G80 will be.

This is the biggest issue for me, the weight. Followed by the 8sp ZF in place of the DCT

I fear the 6MT RWD will be 3800lb, which is really bad, 200lb more than the F8X

Plus it's a street car. It's track/sport/race inspired but in the end they're all street cars... With more safety in mind then track weight..

What else would you compare it to in it's class? An Alfa quad weighs roughly the same 3800, s4 is 3950 c63 amg similar just looked.
