I feel like come 2021 once we get used to the design the numbers might change. Not saying suddenly 80% will like it. However, it might start growing on people after seeing the final product in person.

And I disagree that what (only) matters is how it drives. Other things like how a car looks and sounds, quality/reliability, cost, etc., all cumulatively matter to our ultimate buying decision. |

It is kind of like the new rendition of your favorite band whether new people joined or the music they made changed a lot. Younger people who recently started following might like or even love it but fans that have been there from the beginning have a very hard time accepting such a drastic development. I am just very torn. Is this always going to look terrible or with time are we going to like this quite a lot? I feel like it won't be universally loved and probably even be made fun of but a couple years down the road when we look at the previous generations, they will start looking old and dated. I find this similar |

That snarky point was made on page one, and was responded with equal snarkiness. The best polls have information by having clear choices. Pick your side or wait it out. The choice is yours. Option 3, create another poll with a waiting option.

I believe since SUV's are king of all sales BMW has to do a significant change to the the M4. Coupes are the hardest hit by the SUV phenomenon. The M4 whether you think is ugly or not will certainly look different then every competitors sedan and coupe. Different good or bad is a matter of opinion.
I currently have no opinion until I see it live and in the flesh

I voted yes, lately I find BMW making products that look better in person than in pictures and videos. 8 series, G05 X5, X7 all look much better in the metal than in pictures. I'm hoping this trend will continue and the M4 looks better in real life than in pictures. If anything to be changed in the M4 design, I would rather have the hood stretch all the way to the grill than to cut short with an ugly line visible on top.

When it gets to front page it will have tenfold the votes, and if the prior were biased, it will converge to the True like rate. Also, we had the front covers off the car before this poll was even started

The leaks and renderings can give a good enough idea and many have voted based on them. The Ms are set to be revealed in September officially - some are holding out on voting until then
