It's definitely worth considering. I really hope AWD + MT is an option, but I doubt it.

I've read several people comment that they were told by BMW personnel at the recent UDEs that the g8x would be officially revealed Sept. 23. What exactly do we think that means? How long before someone can go on their website and "build" a model to see all the different exterior and interior color options, features, and pricing? Closer to production early next year?

What to expect for timing (USA customer)
-Reveal date, official images uncovered of any camo, base pricing, key or major package descriptions (eg track pack, competition pack)... dealers should get at least HEA order guides (if they don't have them already)
-Production start (November) - full order guides should make their way online, likely sooner than this but it won't be later
-Online build and price for USA likely not till December, typically updates the month the cars actually start hitting the lots, may be somewhat sooner due to the fact the current models are out of production. (International build and price will likely be up in nov or earlier, much higher order and pickup vs 'buy off the lot' culture)

BMW has done well with timing, too many cars reveal all info then have a 6month plus time period before orders are placed.

BMW typically reveals, then orders can be placed within 60-90 days.

The 440s will be out in November/December. This means the m4 won't hit the 🇺🇸 til 6 months later. Does this mean the 2021 will be shorty produced? 2022 should follow late next year
