Which seats did you sit in? Standard or Carbon?

Negative

They claimed it was replaced with steel because of emissions or some crap.

2017+ F80 New BMW M3 and M4s will be fitted with steel driveshafts instead of carbon fiber ones as a result of the German manufacturer complying with emissions regulations, according to Autoblog. Apparently, the old carbon shafts were too thick to accommodate a new particulate filter on the exhaust system.

Cool beats 🔉!

Why are they installing a Dodge Charger hood on my favorite cars the new M3 and M4? It does not look right! The Power Dome hood is so much cooler looking especially with the functional scoop. Function over form, if it's not functional it has no need to be there, meaning the fake side vents!

BMW hopefully you guys fixed/added the Carbon Fiber Roof with the missing functional OEM roof rack Mounting Brackets/Bolts!!!

Interesting to see the process through the video, but someone got way too edit happy with the transitions and such. Just let us see what it looks like.

Interesting video but they need to replace the 12 years old doing the editing, watching this makes me want to puke (honestly i started feeling unwell watching this)... You see a smooth assembly line with careful and precise movements from the workers and the editor destroys everything with annoying flashes, speed changes, rewind ... It's almost unwatchable and i'm not subject to epilepsy thank god... Less is more in editing...

Actually some of us received replacement driveshafts constructed of CF.

Pump these out - flood the market - I'm ready to see this thing in the flesh and stacked 5 deep on dealer lots so I can test drive one of each color.

I'm very curious what these cars would look like with a tasteful power dome hood.

...or at least some functional vents.

Please don't partner with Dyson again to make that huge Vacuum Grill.

Completely ruined a car, that could have been somewhat nice.

It doesn't need a power dome because the motor sits low enough for a dome to have no function.

The function would be the cool look that the previous M cars had that helped them stand out.

That would not be function then. That would be an aesthetic; a product of design. Form....not function.

It seems everything that made the F80 unique has gone out the door with this gen of M3.
