If this is how it look like... there will be a market for CF front bumper with oversize grill delete

Source? Its surprising to hear bc the headlights, grill, and bumper seem quite different to me

You are looking at low quality pictures of pre-production test vehicles. In fact, it cannot even be determined with certainty that they are from two different vehicle form factors. There is no full vehicle picture.

The front ends are shared per insiders. The vehicle programs are built around a shared costing structure, just as in the past.

Geezus. This one is going to take a while to get used to. Because of its massive size, it looks like BMW intentionally attempted to dissociate the new grill design from the iconic kidney grill most people know BMW for in order to achieve a more bold look, but unfortunately it currently looks more like someone’s assprint on a scanner in myopinion

Nothing looks right that's why it's probably accurate. BMW can't design anything that looks good these days. Even the new badge is a step backwards

The 8 speed is good, but not nearly visceral enough IMO. It's all about programming. This is what ultimately drove me away from a Quadrofoglio. Alfa managed to totally screw the downshifting logic unless you're in race mode and 100000% up to temperature. Slow, clunky, unresponsive. Losing the DCT is a huge downfall right off the bat.

Now....for the 6 speed RWD G80, different story. I agree there as well.

Looks wise, the F8X is a sexy, stunning car. I cannot get past the front end of a G80. I will be buying out my F80, and maybe get a Z4 M40i or something. I don't want to jump the BMW ship. I've been in all the competitors and they don't do it for me.
The loss of the DCT is the biggest issue for me, personally.

I'll wait for the official reviews, but it does appear the auto version is headed for more of a GT life.

Even if it is, it’ll be a better car overall than the F80.
