When I learned this was the keystone of Carbahn's S58 warranty my interested was piqued. The unit is an add-on that stacks in a super slick way in front of the stock HE. It looks like a stock piece in that the design and construction matches almost identically - perhaps from the same supplier.
I finally got time to install last weekend. It's one of those boring durability mods that unless you want their stage 2 w/warranty is probably not on your list. For whatever reason it appealed to me. It is expensive, but I bought it during the release pricing so that helped. Installation was well thought out and very straightforward although you do have to trim a few holes in the plastic shroud. Here are a few pics - hit me up if you have any questions about the install. I drove hard in 90 degree weather and IAT was solid around 59-60. The real value will be on hot track days - especially at higher boost levels.

Did you think about going more water than coolant mix in the heat exchanger loop or adding Redline water wetter or similar additive? 30 degrees below ambient seems too good to be true lol.
Wonder if it's possible to request a heat exchanger without their logo on it, lol... |

Good call out now that I think about it. I need to take a look at what exactly the JB4 is picking up.

Oops. BMS did the configs while on their dyno and for some reason I thought we were only spoofing for map 6. My bad, but I should have known better, lol. Edits to follow…

LOL, agree - tried to clean it off before installing. The paint isn't aggressive and removes with carb cleaner but even using a small detailer brush I couldn't get at the paint inside the fins. It is much more muted than before and less noticeable when viewed head on.

How does this compared to CSF heat exchanger? It’s over double the price ?

Unless you're getting the whole carbahn treatment for warranty reasons then get the CSF one.
