Wheel knurling

Hi all, I will be ordering wheels with BC Forged.

Is knurling necessary? Its a $200 option but do I really need it?

They said if I make high HP that it helps with tires slipping on the wheel. Car will have custom tune eventually.

What are your thoughts?

Maybe if you're making over 1000hp+ otherwise don't bother.
