Makes sense as anything from this point forward will be built in January and beyond. Not sure with the upcoming Christmas/ New Years how long the production lines shut down anyways.

I'm curious to see the price increase for the M4 once the LCI hits.

The worst part about all of this is, a person like me who has been waiting almost 7 months for an allocation is, I started off at $89K MSRP, then I added an item saying, what's another few grand every other month, and I kept doing it until I got to $101K for the XDrive. Now another $1800.... GRHHHHHH

You gotta stick your neck out there and find an allocation. I see 2-3 a week available. I saw 5 cars avaialble last week. I’d like to link you to one, but I don’t keep track of any of them, because I’ve had my car for a while. You gotta get on the Facebook groups and dig into the threads here.

100% agree. I see at least 2-3 every week that people are offering at MSRP. You need to be aggressive. There was a buildable xdrive (in Tennessee?) on FB earlier this week that no one claimed in 3-4 days and the build locked so now the dealer is trying to sell the car as configured.

They really are out there.

I also don't pay that much attention because I am picking up my car tomorrow

(109 days deposit to delivery and that includes 48 sitting at port...)

Do we get more options and features for the price bump? Maybe rear-heated seats are back?!

See here .... Day Laborer autocompanion ...talk to the brokers on the fourm.

Posted yesterday by Day Laborer

December has been difficult to find allocations for at MSRP, but generally there are a few available at $5000 over MSRP, but they will start production after Jan 1st, therefore will also be impacted by the anticipated price increase

Nontheless, here are the some highlights the best deals that I was able to find right now for G80 M3s for the month of December

If interested in allocations, all I have right now are between 4-5k over MSRP for a January build.

Quite a change overall since my initial-supply '21 6MT was produced. Comes out to $3300 more expensive than my build was.

Already spoke to Hans earlier in the week; btw, he’s great to work with and awesome at what he does! I’m being picky on what I want and prefer to spec the car I want if I’m about to drop 6 figures. I am running into MSRP deals but most dealers don’t like out of state buyers or the color combinations/options aren’t what I want.

Also, I’ve been pretty close with finding allocations and there have been close situations, but I was either slightly too late or the dealer didn’t mark the allocation in their system “correctly”

I’m close… hopefully

Don't complain folks, in Canada you get an additional $2k luxury tax on your bill, and the more you option it out the higher the tax goes, anything over 100k cad is taxed an additional 20% 🤬

It's just crazy how expensive everything is currently. The base price when I bought was 69,900 so on top of higher interest rates and $4400 extra starting price you could easily be $100 more a month in payment. And this is with nothing extra standard. If you want it I guess you got to pay the man.

New here! Was trying to continue to modify my M3 XDrive Comp last night and wondered why the configurator was down… now I see! Had a blast reading through all of the comments here. I’ve been searching high and low myself, but might wait until after the new year to do an order at my local dealership. They rarely get M allocation… lots of patience. I ordered my X5 M50i last December and picked it up in March. Absolutely LOVE it. It was my dream to build and order a car and the anticipation was everything I hoped it would be. But it’s more than I need in size as we have 2 SUVs. Considered an X3M Comp… but the M3 has been a dream car so we shall see. Had a 2009 335i XDrive coupe, then 2016 340i sedan, and in March traded in a 2021 M340i xDrive sedan for my X5 M50i. Had a 2017 Q7 and a 2021 SQ8 in the mix there too. Always prefer BMW. Cheers!

Interested in learning how many potential M3 owners are planning to delay the purchase until the supply chain issues are addressed and prices return to below MSRP level.

Crazy times. I remember a few years back thinking that $65K for an M3 was really getting up there in price (and wishing I could afford one!). Spec'd out an identical build to my '22 and it came to $92K.

If you think getting a M3 allocation is tough, don't even think about a 911. And you aren't getting a 911 for for anywhere near 101K unless you can convince a dealer to let you order a stripped down base for 106K.
