Was driving tonight and saw a guy reversing his toyota pickup so i stopped and honked my horn, he stopped reversing and went forward then started reversing again and i held on my horn, he just kept backing up until he backed up into my car. Idk how he didnt hear or see my car when i was literally holding down on the horn.

Wow I was having a hard time finding that paint scratch and paint damage until I realized it was your headlight.
That’ll be costly but hopefully won’t be too long of a wait.

Retail replacement cost is ~$7,000, so definitely an insurance claim (hopefully you exchanged info with the pickup truck driver).

I had this exact same thing happen to me at a stop light. Lady decided she wanted to be in a different lane so she tried to back through me. I honked like a madman.

Fought their insurance for a year because they tried to assign blame to me.

Sorry to hear, but you're somewhat lucky it's localized to just the headlight. A nearly identical thing happened to me in a parking lot a few years back. I leaned on the horn and this moron just kept on backing up into my right quarter panel/bumper. Either they're listening to music too loudly or are oblivious, but my damage was a lot more extensive (body-wise, at least). Hopefully they other party takes responsibility and has insurance.

I'm going through the same nightmare. Two other vehicles collided violently in the intersection I was in wating for my turn and one of the other car ran into the front of my M4 with only 1300 miles.
