Damn a whole person. You should sell that case study to BMW.

RS6 is also 150k, if they kept it simple and only brought x drive comp in it's still going to be under 90-100k given that even the G83 is extra cost due to top engineering still less than 90k, my opinion anyways. At this proposed price I think they are foolish not to bring this stateside.

Hmm I don’t get it im afraid guys. I can freely buy one here in the UK but I’d go M4 coupe all day long and twice on Sundays.

I’d rather have an X3M comp for my wife/family over this??

BMWNA knows what they are doing, this would not sell well here in the US and would simply take away from BMW SAV's market share.

I would buy one right now.
BMW needs to reconsider their decision.
I am sure I am not the only one.

If not I might look into how I could import one here legally and not have to wait the 25 years or what not

The issue is that the RS6 pricing is just stupid high, that is why it sells poorly. Nobody is going to be 130k (US) on a fairly equipped RS6 when they could get a nice suv for much cheaper and still have very good performance.

If the price was sub 100k then it would have been very popular.

They tried to sell the 3 GT and the 5 GT and they won't even try and sell this? Anyways, I'm saving lots of money as a result of BMW's decision.

Damn straight! Absolute shocker that those Pontiac Aztec knock offs didn’t sell well. Insert rolling eye balls...

Just bums me out we can’t get this in North America. I will survive, but not as happily as I could have.

I see multiple RS6s weekly. Just depends on where you live.

I can see how BMW is gun shy about bringing new cars to the US market. With the current climate, it's hard to predict what's going to happen in six months let alone the entire product life cycle.

I really wanted this to come to NA, but no manual transmission would keep me from buying it…

I'm driving down to Welt this Friday to take a factory tour to see how the G80 and G81 are built so I'll be able to see this.

I can tell you that the RS6 is very hard to get in the USA. I would love to buy one, and they are between 30K to who knows how much over MSRP, and very limited availability.

I do not want an M5 Touring, I want the size of the M3 - family plus dog road-trips to the Mountains skiing or beach.

Chevy Impala station wagon has abdicated its throne in favor of BMW G81.

Phenomenal vehicle which continues to gain more signatures on "please bring it to the US" petition.

do we know each other?!? I wouldnt take a brand new m3 wagon surfing, but would love to have one to take to the snow. ultimately though i really enjoy having an older 4runner that i can drive around town and not care about -- id forgotten how liberating a good beater is.

Lol. I know plenty of tech workers who rock the Subaru Outback or 4runner as their weekend ride and then have a mildly older 3 series or similar (that they bought new but like 8 years ago) as their daily. And I mean it's the bay area. Plenty of BMWs in general around here.
