Now for the best news of all... Her bone marrow biopsy on 11/10 showed 39% blast (leukemia) cells. Her bone marrow biopsy from yesterday showed ZERO blast (leukemia) cells!!! That's right - NONE! We're still waiting for the more detailed results which we'll have next Wednesday, but this preliminary result shows that her treatment is working.

We really appreciate everyone's kind words and thank you for keeping her in your thoughts.
Awesome, good to hear the news. Hope it all keeps improving from here on out.

Cancer is so scary, because it takes so many forms and leads to so many different outcomes. I'm so glad your daughter's treatment shows early signs of success -- complete success, let's hope. You couldn't ask for a better holiday gift!!

My (now) 15 year old was diagnosed with stage 4 Osteosarcoma last May. Same as yours, perfectly healthy normal kid before the diagnosis. She had 10 weeks of chemo, they took out most of her femur and some of her tibia, 18 more weeks of chemo, surgery on both lungs and right hip, 36 more weeks of chemo, she was deemed "Cancer free" in February, just had her 9 month scans a few weeks ago, still cancer free.

It's gonna suck major ass honestly but you gotta keep your chin up if only for your daughter, you guys can get through this.

Thanks so much for sharing your family's courageous journey. One thing I'm learning is just how resilient kids really are. Their incredible sense of indestructibility is inspiring. I think back across my life of all the things that I let bend me out of shape. The things that I fretted over that, in the grand scheme of things, were so inconsequential. I intend to use this situation as a learning experience to try to keep things in perspective.

I'm very happy to hear that your daughter is continuing to remain cancer free. I'm confident that she'll stay that way and go on to do great things.

My sincerest best wishes for a safe and speedy recovery.

May her every heartbeat be a stride toward a life of good health and happiness.

If you have the means, given its a seasonal offering, have her take two Pomegranates a day (not juice - whole fruit).

If you PM me, I'll send you as much scientific info as you need to provide you with the reasons why I'm suggesting it.

All the best for you and your family my friend

My friend, I wish that you and your family have much joy and love, and your son, the strength of the sun in these testing times.

I hope you will all look back at this one day and say, thank God everything worked out as it should have.

Wishing you all, the very best outcome

Best wishes for your daughter and your entire family. We often forget that dealing with disease is a huge burden for not just the person afflicted but everyone in the family.

Kids are remarkably resilient and have amazing powers of recuperation.
