App/Site PW and Login issues.

Anyone else having issues since the iOS app updated? I was locked out all last night after the update, and all morning. I was finally able to reset my PW using my iMac and Safari, but I still can't log in on either my iPhone or iPad, with either the app or the web.

No issues at my end on either of my cars, or any app. It could be an user specific thing. May want to contact customer service if you think it is related to an update.

bmw says they're working on it. It's been a few days

I didn't have any issues, but have you tried deleting the app and re-installing and then trying to log in. Not sure if that will do anything, but may be worth a shot...

Delete - Reinstall - repeat, same issue, over and over. I know the PW is correct too.

I guess my issue is either unique to me, or they don't care to look into it, I got no response to my emails or post on FB.

What sub forum is that a part of? I was looking for an official release post to report bugs but wasn’t seeing it anywhere. Probably wasn’t looking hard enough though…

You guys thst don’t get on laptops can’t see it.

If you don’t have the forum saved in MyForums you probably can’t see it.

It’s “Site Related” for anyone else that wants to find it.

Thanks, yeah, I never would have seen that. I posted over there, hopefully they address it. If I can't log in on my iPhone or iPad, I won't be as active here, don't use my iMac that much since I retired.

I figured, so I linked you guys to it. It hasn't been without issues, as some have been posting. Weird thing is, the bugs don't seem to be consistent, across the board.

Some people are having trouble logging in, and I was having trouble with everything going to white text over a white background, when the phone goes into auto dark mode, at dusk.

Hopefully they figure it out. They said there will be an update, in the next few days. Overall, its way more usable, to me, anyway.

Yeah, been using the app for 99% of my site interactions for a long while now. Hope they figure it out, kind of a bummer.

I started using it more, since they went to this new app. It has a lot more functionality. I like it.

Maybe it's the diff between iOS and Android, but the old version was pretty functional, from what I've seen with the update (without being able to log in) I like the previous version better. Maybe I'll change my mind if they get it fixed.
