This is a funny question to me. I work from home and can do most things in my life within 15 miles of my house.
After ordering and waiting on delivery on my "dream car" (G83), I imagined I would put about 2000 miles a year on it. I just hit 11,000 miles after 9 month of ownership. This car wants to be driven. If it was an M3CS I think my desire would be just as high. It has gotten to the point that if two days go by and I have not gone "for a drive", then I start to get annoyed. So to answer the question; daily but without the daily commute. But would still be putting miles on it and enjoying every one of them! For those who do garage it, more power to you. Personally I could not do it. Last edited by M4ord; 03-23-2023 at 02:55 AM.. Reason: clarity |

I never understood the garage queen concept. To garage queen an M3, the rest of your stable has to be pretty spectacular where you can do without driving this car as much as you can. Don't get me wrong, I can think of a few members here that fit that bill, but even some of them daily an M3. The CS is a special car, but is not a collectors car and will most certainly depreciate regardless of how much you baby it.
All this to say, to me, it's like marrying a fine woman and then just admiring her from a distance. That's not something I'm about. |

Complete waste to be a garage queen, on any M car for that matter.
Buuuuuut... considering I plan on replacing my '21 G80 with a second-hand CS down the road, I hope I'll have a good selection of garage queens to choose from. |

My last F82 CS was used a bit. 21k in 5 years. Although some consider this low but it’s high in the sense the thing is damn stiff and imo not comfortable for everyday driving especially in the U.K with our pot hole ridden roads.
This car is only being used for track days and special weekends if family is going somewhere where it’s worth driving. iX will be used for daily to save the £$. I want to keep this one low mileage as it’s potentially last petrol CS. Could hold good value in the future, if it’s anywhere close to the CSL in terms of performance. The M3 is iconic. Might do a couple of European drives over the years also. |

Agreed. BMWs are not appreciating anytime soon so drive them! Even my GT Porsches I drive. 10k miles on my 2020 GT4 and still sold it for a good bit more than a bought it for before I got my second one. These cars are all meant to be driven. Even if or when I buy a Ferrari I will drive it.

For the people who are going to daily drive the CS, are you going to have work clients in your car ever? The bucket seats could be a concern on that end.
