Looking good! Feeling good! As a diehard convertible guy, I’d say you are doing it right. As long as it’s sunny and you turn up the heat all is good. Just wait until it warms up and gets sunny. The best!

Love the color, sorry the whole experience wasn't better.

Given all the difficulties you had finding a picture/sample of Fame Green, how did you select it originally?

Just curious, I think it looks great!

Non matching leather sounds like a big deal…
They did not — I was “scheduled” to talk to a representative, they focused on a non-issue and I got standard lip service.

I’ll post pictures the next clear day.

I used the M4 individual configuration website and played with all sorts of combinations. I found a handful that stuck out to me, then I just really tried to personalize to fit my tastes.

I didn’t jump into any decision without a little bit of heavy debate — and TONS of screenshots of other cars to at least give me a visual and “worst case scenario” for what to expect from an unknown color.

It may have also have helped that I wrote a small piece of software to “see” the car a bit better as an animation.

Oh and I may have also taken those renderings through a couple color filters to again visualize worst case scenarios…

I may have been a bit obsessed.

I ended up finding/obtaining about 250 pictures of the color before taking delivery (but we’ll after placing the order)

My favorite was finding this obscure example.

Hah! That one is fantastically random!

I may have only gotten IOMG but I love me some green on the G80/82/83.

There’s a good reason BMW picked it as a launch color.

Just looks so good!

Thank you for the great response. Nothing wrong with being a bit obsessed. You spent a lot of money and the details matter!

Congrats on a beautiful car.

(the green Scion xB is nice)

Haha, I felt like if a Scion xB could pull a metallic green, I should have faith on my build.

I also agree with other poster. Velvet Orchid is slept on another color I suspect is stunning (and will probably be the next one I buy).

Great color! How much did you pay for the flame green?

I think I’m blind to the subtleties of Red colors. St James just looks like a “pure red” to me, same as Rossa Corsa.

I’ve stayed at that Marriott twice during my performance center pick ups. It is old and tired that’s for sure.

Great car. And your seat mate is the cherry on top. Piano black interior pieces Errr. Looks good when new but impossible to not get micro scratch’s. At least you don’t have to worry about the piano black B pillars. Seems just about every car has them except verts. I have mine PPF’d
