I am very pleased to share the arrival of Fiona (yes, after Shrek’s Fiona) Isle of Man Green M3. Arrived a week or so ago and I just got it back from getting ceramic and PPF application. Ceramic and PPF job took 4 days total and was going to cover a weekend… I reached out and got them to stop at a good point so I could take her home and enjoy for the weekend (truth is, I was feeling like the 24 hours it was in the garage was like a fever dream…). This was a great result as it led to a Saturday outing with a local car club and some awesome professional photos. Absolutely loving IOMG - the color does truly morph in different lighting.
The full spec of the build is provided below along with minor future plans, but want to emphasize that I had M Performance Height Adjustable Springs port and absolutely love the result from an aesthetic and handling perspective. In both regards, takes the car to where it should have been stock. I ordered in October of 22 and it was in the US by Christmas, but took quite a while to get the port installed springs completed. VERY happy to have it here and have been enjoying getting to know Fiona. The Build: 2023 M3 Manual Transmission Isle of Man Green Tartufo Interior Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Red Brakes 825M Bi-Color wheels (Pirelli’s unfortunately… for now) No Extended Shadowline (body color spoiler and mirror caps, and chrome exhaust) Laser Lights (again, not Shadowline) Sunroof Executive Package Ventilated Seats 829M Double Spoke (black) winter wheels with Pirelli P Zero Winter tires (dealer ordered) M Performance Height Adjustable Springs (port installed) Modification Current / Future Plans: Ceramic (Xpel) 2 coats Selective PPF (Xpel) (partial front hood and fenders, headlights, A-pillar, front roof line, mirror caps, door cups, rear door sills, rockers, rear hip, and rear diffuser) Ceramic Tint @15% (Xpel) Bavsound under seat Ghost subwoofer Paint matched key fob IND painted reflector replacement (front only) Blendmount Radar Detector with Mirrortap integration Resonator Delete (dual) with potential mid-pipe in the future Spacers (MM to be determined) That’s it! Any love, hate, or suggestions more than welcome! Enjoy these awesome pictures! Last edited by montrokc; 03-01-2023 at 01:41 PM.. |

It looks great! Nice to see the less common brighter options(825 bi-color, no CF roof, no shadowline lights or extended shadowline). Really makes the car quite unique and brightens up the look.

Congrats, and great spec!
Although I don't think you're legally allowed to name it Fiona unless the seats are red. |

Decided to take the next step with the exhaust this past week. Played around with whether to (a) remove the secondary cats and first resonator which would retain the secondary that has an X-pipe built in, or (b) remove both resonators and install a non-resonated X-pipe.
I permanently opened the exhaust valves at home and then took Fiona to a local shop to take the latter “(b)” approach and couldn’t be happier - might play with a new muffler or full mid pipe replacement in the future (Dinan’s new release has caught my eye), but for now and for the overall price… this is a great first start. Short sound clip and pics below (in order: after, during, before, with exhaust fully “down,” and one more glam shot because why not!!). I’ll get a more in depth sound video once I get break in service early next week and can rev it higher without feeling terrible about the whole thing… https://youtu.be/tDzOuzQJdq0 |
