I obviously do not drive much. This is not my only car and I mainly work at home. My last two M3’s each had around 7,000 miles after 3 years.

Just a side note - I took it in for the “break-in” service in August at 1 year. Thus was due to BMW’s 1 year maintenance interval and not the 1,200 mile mark. It had just under 1,000 miles at that point. I then had to return after 1,200 miles, for the official break-in interval. They replaced the fluids and filter again. I verified this in the service order. The dealer said that this would happen because I hadn’t hit 1,200 in under 1 year. For the low mileage folks - all BMW’s will want a service annually during scheduled maintenance. Someone in a previous post noted how low mileage cars might have deferred maintenance and that people don’t always change the oil. These are probably not late model BMW owners. Our other daily car is a ‘22 X5 45e (PHEV). It had about 6,000 miles at the first year - same scheduled service was requested and performed. Also interesting is that most of those miles were on electric, hardly used the ICE. BMW said it’s either time (12 months) or total mileage that matter, even if it was on electric (for a PHEV).

Deliverey July 6th 2022, by July 8th I had 1,400 miles as I was too impatient to break it in (Drove it from ATL down to South FL then up to North FL) 😬
I now have 11,940 beatiful miles with 3 out of state trips, time for the car to lay low for a while
