Took delivery in Sep 15th, and have whopping 149 km.

Obviously not my daily and I WFH. It’s now stored for the Winter. Will likely take me a year to get the break in done!

Nice, any reliability concerns trips to the dealership? Is your car tuned?

I haven't had a single issue with this car. So I've decided not to spend like $6,500 on an extended warranty, mostly because it wouldn't last all that long with my driving habits (20k to 30K per year). So I may as well just leave that money in the market and have it work for me. The G8X seems to be pretty well-built, as I think BMW may have gotten this generation "right" in regard to general reliability. But time will tell. If not and it becomes a maintenance headache like some other past BMW models, I'll just trade it in.

And oh by the way, like others, I also work from home, so no commuting. Thus, most of these miles are "just because I can" miles....e.g. long trips, random introspective drives for mental health, and of course just random errand running.

+1,000… No doubt!!!

My son was working/internship in Cape Cod this past summer and we live in Connecticut;
2 hours 45 minutes away.

-Drove to Cape Cod for lunch,
-Back to CT
-Then drove to Jersey to visit family
-Back to CT

Just because…

2023 G82 M4C X-Drive, delivered in September. Just hit 1K and had the break in service performed early. I now have it stored for the winter, but will definitely drive it HARD, during the spring/summer months.

Over 100k. I typically do 60-90k every 3 years.

Definitely not in my head. It’s principally noticed on much better ‘return to center’ performance.
Elimination of friction (or rather a significant reduction) in the steering system and suspension. Tire wear also likely to be a factor.
