Directly BMW, it was all negotiated in the car order process. But the kit was delayed so it went on after the delivery.

Have you found a way to do split screen using the bmw map (so when you’re in the idrive portion not CarPlay) as well by any chance?

Hit the home button on your center console close to the gear selector. You can organize your widgets. The most you can typically see with the map is two total. Personally, my ID8 split screen is the map + audio source.

I’m not a huge fan of the ID8 Home Screen. I don’t like the skewed angles and would rather have squared angles like the ID7 Home Screen.

Oh I got you, but you haven’t found a way when you’re in the full idrive map to have a split screen to bring in other stuff there right? That’s how my f80 was but doesn’t look like we can do that with the idrive 8

I like full leather Fiona, no regret. Red stitching on dashboard/door leather looks premium. I don’t even notice the red under the dashboard if you think it’s too much.

I was contemplating doing the same to make the vehicle look lower versus having the dark trim below but hesitant as I believe SG may be hard to match to the factory on the trim in comparison to the body. (AW, BSM shouldn't be an issue but something like SG may be a bit more tricky.) Any profile shots?

You're correct, SSG was difficult to match. I've used this body shop for over 20+ years and they are the best. Took them a few days to get perfect using a few different paint manufacturers. I cannot tell a difference. Will post some better pics soon.

Not SSG, but Brooklyn should give you a general idea. Personally I think they'll look better in black with the SSG and will go with the rest of the black and grey theme. But obviously this is a purely subjective thing.
