I was thinking about ppfing my car in matte finish so it would be matte black. Not sure yet tho

Was actually thinking the same...

I want to PPF the whole car, so this could be an interesting choice.

I’ve got BS too and considering Satin PPF too but not sure if I’ll get bored of it too quickly as it’s a very common colour.

Have you heard about liquid spray PPF? They can change colour of your car using same material as PPF and works in same way! Not sure if they have that in Germany but it’s becoming quite a think over here in the UK!

It sounds like BS but it is how it is and what they said is what they said, I cannot verify it but there must be a reason.
There is for example a reason why the new M2 manufactured in Mexico comes in 5 colors only: Quality. The Mexican plant isn't "capable" (yet) for more colors, especially special colors.

Yes, BS.

I heard of liquid spray PPF (it is called Cardip over here) but I prefer XPEL quality PPF over it, not so sure how good liquid spray PPF is in comparison and how easy it is to apply without removing body parts/panels/etc.

I just heard from my Detailer that the liquid PPF is esentially a peelable clear coat!! So it’s quite high maintanance, as you have to polish if you want to remove swirls. PPF definitely the better option.

I'd bought a couple of cars from my dealer in the last 2 years and was looking at a deal on a 240i when I tentatively asked about getting a CS. Thought nothing of it until he rang today offering me a slot for July delivery. I can choose the colour, gone for Black and gold wheels

Amazing. Which dealer? Must’ve been a cancelled order as they were sold out!

I’m surprised he let you chose the colour, the builds are locked and car paint can’t be changed except for brakes and wheels.

I’ve also got BS July delivery which is a June build, so I guess our cars are next to each other on the production line 😁

I wanted Bronze wheels, but order was already locked. I will order Bronze Rims when the car gets closer.. still just waiting for order to be accepted. It seems Frozen and Signal Green are being later build so far.

Also White, Red calipers, and bronze wheels will be the Halo build .
