I've noticed that, but it could also be a coincidence. I've seen other parts (springs come to mind) that reference models like X5, X6 but it's not the same part as from those cars.

In this case I don't think F90 refers to the M5. It's likely just a picking code used to help workers during the factory build process (ie left side/right side).

A similar point was discussed in Misha's Apex Taxi G82 video with respect to springs X5, X6

I noticed that only G82 has sound insulation material deletion, not G80. Is that correct? (Page 31)

That’s very important because hood is made out of aluminum and can warp if you tried closing it your own way

On page 80, there is this one sentence that cracked me up:

"Thebrakedust
tellsthecustomerthathis/herBMWMvehiclehasbeendriveninanappropriat emanner
".

See, germans do have a sense of humor.

Wow, and here I thought I was OCD. You win.

And I applaud your clean front bumper ...on which you better not add a front plate.

I'm German and even understood this correctly.

Hi to everybody!

At pag. 52, talking about the manual mode/sequential mode of ZF8, they say: "To use the highest, i.e. the third driving program, M DSCi does not have to be activated".

Does this mean that the driving program 3 is available only with DSC Off???

It does not mean that, it’s not really clear why they say anything there because all of the drive modes are available in any of the dsc modes. Possibly because launch control activation requires both dsc off and S3 drive mode.

Yes, this could be a good interpretation.
I agree that it is not clear at all...

parking assist package is 100000% worth having. have had it on the last 4 BMWs and will not order without. if it saves you from one bump or curb rash it is paid for.

ynguldyn do you have any of this type of technical documentation for the CS? My dealer had no idea this existed, much less anything for the CS.

Most if not all the pertinent information will be in the official press release plus looking up part number differentiations between the XDrive and the CS on bmw-etk. That plus user feedback on coding changes which have been discussed at length on the gearbox, damping, traction control, and steering.

Get that shit.
It is amaze balls.
The 360 camera is the best tech thing in any car ever, especially if you ever park your car anywhere other than your own driveway.

It also has “car wash” camera lol.
Do not skip this feature.
