I got a week 18 when I called the BMW Genius line. Hopefully it sticks...the transportation strikes over there are likely to have an impact.

So I guess this is just a co-incidence.

My car is BS and is planned for manufacturing in November.
I know of a couple of BS, SG, FW and BG M3 CS which have been already manufactured this month.
This is partly true. It has been well known they have the ability to change colors one after another. You salesman should have known that ages ago. That doesn’t mean they are.

Anyone else hear there all dealers are getting at least 1 and some up to 3 CS'? I have a deposit down for mine but sounds like this car may not be as limited after all.

I have one incoming, but my dealer is only getting 1 whereas I know some others who work for BMW and they said their dealership got 2, and other dealerships 3 allocations.

Each dealer got one in North America. If that dealer has multiple locations they got one for each location.

I've got a build week 18 Brooklyn Gray with black wheels and cup 2's available. Non-CCB build. Dealer is asking 10k over. I have a business opportunity that I can't say no to that is going to drain my down payment fund. PM me if you would like details.

One car per dealership (multiple locations = more cars) and according to my information here in Germany, BMW M GmbH informed dealers here that there won't be more M3 CS than M4 CSL.

Thanks, however, this one location has confirmed they have 2 cars coming which I found odd. It sounds like in the US there will be a good bit more CS' than CSL's.

Again: As far as my dealer told me, BMW M GmbH informed German dealers that they won't make more M3 CS than CSL. They were talking total numbers, not only the German market.

If a BMW dealer gets 2 cars, this means that they shifted allocation from one location to another. Simple as that.

The M3 CS has disappeared from the BMW configurator two weeks or so ago.

I also have a friend in the UK who is a collector (massive) of high end cars and also a very good M cars customer and he wasn't able to secure a M3 CS for himself because his dealer got only one and it was promised to another customer who bought the previous M3 CS as well.

I know a dealer who got 2 CSL and is getting 2 CS, depends on region and dealer relations with headquarters.

Dealer without any other locations or direct affiliations?

Also, dealers can "give" other dealers cars in exchange for...whatever.

My large BMW dealer here in Germany got another M5 CS from a smaller dealer because the small dealer didn't have any customers for the car before it arrived and he didn't want to risk it having it in stock.

Now the fun part: My large dealer sold their own M5 CS but they didn't have a customer for the second one. Luckily, someone spontaneously bought the car a few weeks later after it arrived.

We always think that these cars are easy to sell but it sometimes depends on the dealership and the location.
