Same. I'm all for having nice materials in my car, to an extent. There is a point, though, where "Nice to have" just isn't worth the cost and/or maintenance required. I think the normal Sensatec material on the dash and soft plastics throughout most of the car is plenty nice, and it doesn't require maintenance to keep in pristine condition. I also thought about getting wood trim in my car, but am glad I got the metal... again, less maintenance and it will last longer.
Gotta go full on leather. Maintenance is nothing unless your OCP.

I guess they've lowered their standards for models since the bankruptcy. The carbon seats are a great fit for me as well.

It's because the incremental amount of cf material used costs bmw like $2.35. The $950 they charge us is simply based on what they have determined consumers will pay for the customization.

Porsche got me hooked on this. It seems so simple but it makes things so nice!
100% why I ordered it on this car as I had it in my 911. There was not much extra care with it either so not sure what the fuss is about that.

Agree. Super easy. Not even an issue.

Auto hold is standard. What do you mean when you say you ordered it on your car?

I think he misquoted. Probably meant to quote one of the "full leather" posts.

I had full leather in my m340i. While it was very nice and complemented the Tartufo Merino leather color well, i wasn't going to shell out the extra $4000 CDN in my G80. It has a black interior, so it's barely noticeable.
