For those who received allocations recently & who had individual (special) orders, how long did it take you to get a scheduled production date on your M?

I’ve been in status 111 since 10/21…. Getting inpatient!!

My car is currently in status 150, with a completion date of 12/15. Dates are as follows:

10/11 - Deposit placed, build code provided with IOMG as the paint choice
10/12 - Production number received
10/12 at 3:50 p.m. - Dakar Yellow is formally submitted to BMW for approval
10/12 at 5:17 p.m. - Dakar Yellow is available and approved by BMW (according to CA)
10/12 - BMWUSA website shows status 111 as "Order received"
10/14 - BMWUSA website shows special paint as confirmation that Dakar Yellow is approved
11/4 - BMWUSA website shows status 112 as "Scheduled for production"
11/25 - BMWUSA website shows status 150 as "Production begins"

Now, I don't know if someone at BMW literally saw Dakar Yellow as a paint and immediately smashed the "yes" button, but I have text messages with times from my CA that show it was formally submitted and approved the very same day. The allocation was set for week 47, but was moved to week 50. BMW Genius confirmed today that my M3 is scheduled for completion on week 50, or December 15th.

My experience is.. for lack of a better way of saying it - absurdly dumb fucking lucky. There are members here that have waited months for paint approval, and many have had their production weeks delayed months. So be patient and hope for the best! Contact BMW Genius as they have the most up to date information and are open 7 days a week via phone. Just hit 0 a few times to speak to someone after first saying "no" to the prompt asking if you're calling about a lease/loan.

Followed up with my SA, his intel says a early Jan build I guess. Lots of waiting for this car, better be worth it!! Order was placed early Aug
