M4s Week 43 to Present, QC?

Seems like no M4s from weeks 43 to present have made it passed QC. Anyone out there with G82/83 build, week 43 to present, make it out of QC?

Maybe some of you earlier weeks folks (W43) can post here as your cars move along. Hopefully that will inform us on where we stand assuming the cars are fixed in order by week. I’m a week 47 in QC.

I was week 44, then told 45. I have been in QC since November 8th.

You have to think at some point they will run out of room to store cars at Dingolfing and we might end up just doing what M3’s are and getting fixed at a VPC.

I ordered my car July 14th, and I've had mine for a 5 weeks. And thats in California, which takes another 3 weeks by boat. Have they said what your hold up is? Did you order an individual color?

What packages/options did you spec? There just doesn’t seem to be any explanation for why people like you got your car so much faster than others. My order was accepted 7/22 , started production 9/22 and has been in QC for 7+ weeks.

No individual color, I ordered BSM. I think your experience is an outlier based on what I have seen on this forum. Most folks on here seem to have been waiting at least 4 months. I probably won’t see my car until January which will be 6 months from order.

There was a guy that ordered a week after me, and had his car delivered 2 days after mine left the port. He got his car 26 days before me. Crazy. It's hard to tell what's going on.

I ordered BSM as well. The only option I ordered that one could assume would cause a delay is the carbon buckets, but others have the same option and still got their cars

I was originally Week 40, then got pushed to Week 44. I have been in QC since 11/4 for my G83. Thanks for creating this thread.... looks like we are all in the same boat.

I ordered everything except carbon exterior and carbon seats. I thought the carbon ceramic brakes would slow me down. Nope. Now of course I made an expensive mistake and didn't spec the carbon exterior when I ordered, because my car was all ready over $103k. Now, after seeing it, I gotta have it.

This is very frustrating considering the M3’s are flying through QC. What is BMW thinking? Doesn’t make sense to me.

One other thought on the M4 delay. I wonder if there is a backup at the port in Bremerhaven and there is more room to store the M4’s (in QC status) at Dingolfing vs the M3’s in Munich.

Your signature says your car was produced during Week 34. Is that accurate?
