So....if you are running a JB4 that has the Bluetooth adapter then you don't need the Bluetooth option with the Fuel-it analayzer?

I believe both are independent at this moment. Unless someone can clarify. But the way I think it'll work is, Fuel-it will provide you with a real-time e-content and then you select the tune that best fits that e-content.

I'm hoping that at one point, JB4 will integrate the info coming out of Fuel-it and automatically select the tune for optimum performance.

Doesn't the JB4 app have a gauge on the bottom right for E85? I'll have to call BMS. I didn't think a cell phone can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time.

Jb4 doesn't get the data over Bluetooth, it gets it from the 0-5v wire. Only the Fuel-It app is connecting over Bluetooth.

Ok. So no need to get the Fuel-it Bluetooth option if I run the JB4 with Bluetooth?

You don't technically need Bluetooth if you are using jb4 but I don't think they sell an analyzer without Bluetooth, as I recall they sell Bluetooth only and Bluetooth plus 0-5v analog, but I could be wrong. You definitely don't need to buy the fuel it app but that's only a few $.

It only comes one way now and includes bluetooth and 5v plus I think the app is free now too.

How will they work when both, Jb4 and Fuel-it, are communicating to your phone via BT, will be interesting to know. But in theory, there should be no conflict.

I'm thinking of getting both just to be on the safe side and avoid calculating actual e-content. Here's the website for Fuel-it (for more details): https://www.fuel-it.com/bmw-x4m-and-...lex-fuel-kits/

So I'm thinking that if I have both, I would take the following steps:

1- take read out of e-content from Fuel-it via BT
2- select the JB4 map that matches e-content w/out going over
3- enjoy!

Note: I have used Fuel-it with my GTR before and it was great; real-time e-content analysis.

You don't use both via bluetooth at the same time. The Fuel-IT kit attaches to the JB4 and you read E85 mixtures via the JB4 app. The JB4 also uses that E85 data for its auto tuning.

The Fuel-IT app is for people who don't have the JB4 app but have a Fuel-IT kit installed. Like if you have a RaceChip or flash tuning.

That is good news for me. I just wasn't sure since I could not find a S58 with a JB4 integrated Fuel-It kit setup on the internet. I'm also surprised it doesn't mention on the JB4 website that it is Fuel-It compatible; probably because they don't want proprietary conflicts?

Thanks for the info.

Update:
Found the information you described under the Fuel-it section in the burgertuning.com website (https://burgertuning.com/collections...-g80-m3-g82-m4)
