I went through this same dilemma. I so wanted a bold interior but I couldn't picture any of them with my exterior color (Mexico Blue) so I went with the safest choice- black. Full leather. I considered tartufo, red, and orange. The silverstone and white would look ok but would cause my ocd to go crazy trying to keep both clean.
I did spec the carbon buckets which should spruce up the interior even in black.

Same here. IOMG with black interior. Looks great.

My previous F80 was Mexico Blue and Opal White, stunning but had to be careful with blue jeans and dark color clothes.

Regarding OP's question, no. I ordered black full leather on carbon buckets to go with FDG exterior. I wonder if a poll was taken, majority would be black color interior? I'm thinking those that order black interior don't bother posting on here.

I originally specd Orange, but I changed it the next day, and Im glad I did. I love the black interior. And going with orange, and full leather, makes the glove box, and all of that lower dash on the passenger side orange, just too much, for me.

I've been thinking about getting black with the BSM that I have on order waiting for an allocation . Every time I see the fiona red though my minds changes a little… disadvantage of not having a allocation.. my spec is constantly changing

I went IOMG with black as well. Was considering it with silverstone or orange but was worried about dye stains with silverstone and the orange was a bit too much orange for me. If I had a more muted exterior color (i.e. black/white/grey), I'd probably do orange for the interior.

Mine is black. The previous M3 was full sakhir orange. I tend to go back and forth between orange and black interiors. I'm contemplating doing Tanzenite blue over orange next time.

I opted for a more interesting color (KO) to have a little pop on a rather boring color (BG), but black interior is always classy. You can't go wrong with that.

Personal choice of course. I went with full black (interior/exterior). While the other colors stand out more, I was worried that the interior would eventually look dated. Black interior is neutral and timeless.

I would say it depends so much on the exterior colour.

For my build I chose the black interior to go with Portimao Blue.

I did really like Tartufo and should I have gone for Skyscraper Grey, Tanzanite Blue or Black exterior I think Tartufo would have been the way to go.

Black interior is of course the most timeless option but perhaps also a bit boring.
I am fine with that

Great job in avoiding the tartufo. Once they stain they're terrible looking, my buddy has it on his x3. I really wanted the navy leather but it was 1-2+ month and I already hated the fact that I had to wait months for a car. Still not used to all this nonsense tbh.

I went full black on my first G 80 and I loved it. Of course back then the only options were orange or that yellow and blue combo. I just figured I’d get sick of those overtime. So when I ordered my rear wheel drive version blue and also red were available. I like both but I went with red. You can’t go wrong with black though.
