Fabulous looking beast. Such a flattering colour, and I say this being a completely unapologetic Tanzanite partisan... I'll be interested to hear about the effect of your exhaust mods. Of course, here in the land of muffle regs (aka the UK) our options for opening up the sound while still being legal for emissions etc seem pretty limited. But I'm sure there are workarounds and options would appear to be coming online all the time.

Anyway, congrats--a truly impressive machine; and some terrifically eye-catching autumnal portraits!

@JTO24 Nice ride man. I'm waiting on the G87 M2's arrival. But if that doesn't deliver in every department I'll be looking into getting a G80 M3 is this very same color!

Current mods:
  • AST springs
  • Future Classic spacers (15f/12r)
  • VSC valve controller
  • Minor coding
Planned Mods:
  • Various IND cosmetic items
  • BMS intake
  • Valvetronic mid pipe
  • Front lip
  • CF diffuser

For those interested, the photographer's IG is @endlessmvmt... enjoy the pics

You had me at 6mt. A manual transmission is the Fountain of Youth along with canyon carving.

As a former TZB owner I was tempted to spec it again for this car, but I've never had a grey/silver car before so went in this direction. Happy I did!

Thanks! The G87 should be a home run if it's anything like a mix of my former OG M2 and this G80

The springs were $310 and spacers were $180 for the 12mm pair and $185 for the 15mm pair

Hey I get it; the nose is polarizing and I understand those who aren't a fan of it lol from my interactions with folks at a few cars & coffees, it's been pretty evenly split on like vs dislike. But thank you for the kind words otherwise!

Op that’s great as I would really like to see this in person and I’m in Turnersville at least twice a week as that’s where I purchased my AUDI.

I'd be happy to meet you at BMW Tville one day if you wanted to check the car out in person.

Now that you have driven the car for a while with AST springs, would you go with another manufacturer or go back to stock springs? Does the ride comfort get a little bouncy on rough roads to make you want to consider switching? I know a M cars suspension is a little tighter but I don't want to wish for my old suspension back because of daily driving, the jolt and jarring c0an get old after a while. At my age now I just want to enjoy the car based on how the engineers design it.

These AST springs definitely ride slightly firmer than stock in all modes. However, coming from a lowered M2, the ride still feels much better than that car did, even stock. I don't know if MSS or KW will be an improvement over AST, I think if you want to keep the OEM ride, you'll need to stay stock. However, for my use case, I am OK with the slightly stiffer ride as the ride height is now perfect to me.

Thanks for the response, I actually ordered them last night and will put in the corner of my garage with other stuff awaiting the RAM to clear in Baltimore port hole. If they are too uncomfortable, I can always switch back to oem.

I honestly don't think they're that bad, though. I'd say each mode is ~15-20% firmer.
