I think if you get the MP steering wheel, the armrest might fit just well enough.

M Performance windshield is coming soon. CF. Saves 10 lbs and looks great for the 3 seconds before you crash.

I think it would be weird since I have full leather and the bucket seats but I guess it depends

Aren't the carbon seat backs available aftermarket at significantly less?

That armrest is the bee's knee's though!

What's the point then, if it is covered up with a protector.

My take is that it's at least a bit more premium material, much less tacky than the all plastic back of the standard seats - for those of us that didn't want the carbon buckets (that's me) this is an opportunity to ditch that sea of plastic. The armrest is a bit boyracer...but I still like it, haha!

I will say that I'm not in love with the "///M Performance" branding that I see so many places now. Why can't this stuff just say..."///M" on it? Much less busy...and "///M Performance" sounds to me like the name of the options package that you get on your not-actually-an-M-car. See also: Audi S-Line.

Armrest is nice. I wish the seats did a full carbon or full alcantara as well

Never used to have any branding at all when it was just BMW Performance before changing it to BMW M Performance... And it was better.

Perhaps just go on a diet and lose 10 lbs from your waist. Healthier and much cheaper. Driving wise the weight reduction is right around the same height as the windshield.

CF & Alcantara seat backs for standard M seats - gloss carbon fibre

52105A40304 - G80
52105A40303 - G82/83

Price circa 1,300 EUR incl. 19% VAT in Germany.

These are all obviously for other non-M models with the same seats.

Alcantara centre armrest

51165A402D6 - all 2, 3, 4 Series

Price circa 250 EUR incl. 19% VAT in Germany.
I am so glad I bought my cheaper dry carbon headrest covers before ever hearing about these as I'd be out a lot more money right now Although I'm wondering how those alcantara backs would look on tartufo and could those backings be sold separately from the headrests? Truth be told I'm hoping for a dry CF option for these seat backings

I agree, the badging could be cooler/better. Also,
Same thing with Lexus "F sport" as opposed to "F"

Looks like they have alcantara seat backs and stitching.
I think these may be the sport seats in the M440i, looks pretty close
